Documentary film production in the Cayman Islands
Interview-led stories where the subject carries the piece, made for broadcast, brands and festivals.
The work we are known for
Documentary is the work we care most about and the work that wins us awards. It is also the hardest to fake, because you cannot storyboard your way out of a subject who does not trust you.
So we spend time before the camera comes out. That is the whole job. An interview where somebody forgets they are being filmed is worth more than any amount of coverage.
Single films and series
We have made one-off shorts and we have made multi-part series running across a broadcast season. A series is planned as one production from the start, which keeps the look consistent and the cost per episode down.
Archive research, fixing, location access and permits are part of what we do rather than something you have to organise separately.

Questions we get asked
- Do you work with broadcasters?
- Yes. We have delivered to broadcast schedule and spec, including a documentary series for Compass Media.
- Can you handle sensitive subjects?
- Yes, and we would rather be told early that a subject is sensitive than find out on the day. Patient stories, bereavement and health have all come up in our work, and how you handle the room matters more than the camera you brought.
- How long is a documentary shoot?
- A short film is often two to four shoot days spread over a few weeks so you are not forcing everything into one afternoon. A series is longer and is quoted as a block.
