Video editing, colour and post production in Grand Cayman

Already have the footage? Story edit, grade, mix and delivery, in whatever format you need it.

Post on its own

Plenty of people have a drive full of material and no finished film. Sometimes it was shot in house, sometimes by a crew who has moved on, sometimes over years.

We take rushes and deliver a cut. Story edit, colour grade in DaVinci Resolve, sound mix, titles and graphics, versioned and exported to whatever spec you are delivering to.

Useful if you shot here and left

Visiting crews often shoot in Cayman and finish the edit thousands of miles away. Finishing it here means you are not managing an edit across a time zone, and you can sit in on a session while you are still on island.

Matched grading across a series is part of this. Every episode should look like it belongs to the same show, which is harder than it sounds once material has been shot months apart.

Questions we get asked

What formats do you work with?
Most things. Send us a sample clip and the camera it came off and we will confirm before you ship a drive.
Can you grade footage we shot ourselves?
Yes. Grading someone else's material is normal work, though we will tell you if the footage has been baked in a way that limits what a grade can do.
Do we get the project files?
If you want them, yes, and that can be agreed at the quote stage rather than negotiated afterwards.

A few lines is enough to price it. Shoot dates, rough scope and where it needs to end up. We come back with a quote, not a questionnaire.

Founder & Creative Director

Armada Films is me. I take the brief, shoot it and cut it, and build the right crew around each project when a job needs one. The person you brief is the person on set.
